Key Responsibilities
- Train and assess mining equipment operators
- Conduct competency and field assessments
- Conduct PTOs for new and novice operators
- Identify training needs and assist with training programmes
- Maintain operator permits, registers and auditable training records
- Ensure compliance with LEWCOR and client standards
- Promote safe operating practices and HSEQ compliance
Requirements
- Level 4 Assessor Certificate / Train the Trainer
- Minimum 3 years’ Training Officer experience in a production environment
- Minimum 3 years’ machine operator experience on different equipment categories, including rubber-tyred and tracked machines
- Valid driver’s licence – Code CE preferred
- Good knowledge of mining operations, equipment and relevant safety requirements
- Computer literate – MS Word, Excel & Outlook
- Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Namibian Citizen
- Clean Code of Conduct not older than 6 months
