Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ore and waste are mined according to approved mine plans and grade control instructions, including identifying ore boundaries to minimise ore loss and dilution
- Direct haul trucks to the correct ore and waste dumping locations and manage dumping onto designated ROM pad stockpiles
- Coordinate stockpile reclaim activities to ensure crusher feed meets the prescribed blend design while maintaining ore traceability and minimising ore dilution
- Comply with all company SHE policies, procedures and operational standards to support safe and efficient operations
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an open-pit mining environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work shifts in a physically demanding mining environment
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license an added advantage
