Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Grade 12
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an open-pit mining environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work shifts in a physically demanding mining environment
Strong safety awareness and ability to work with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license an added advantage
Grade 12
Degree in Mining Engineering
Valid-Namibia issued Blasting Ticket is a must
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in open-pit mining operations, of which 4 must be in loading and haul and re-handling operations
Strong understanding of open-pit mining operations and management of at least two operations
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong safety awareness and ability to work with minimal supervision
Grade 12
Degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in gold processing operations
Demonstrated experience across comminution, gravity recovery, CIL and gold room operations
Greenfield project and commissioning experience highly desirable
Comprehensive understanding of the entire gold processing flow-sheet
Strong leadership, people management and decision-making skills
Excellent knowledge of process safety, cyanide management and environmental compliance.
