JOB DESCRIPTION:

COUNTRY MANAGER/ESTIMATING MANAGER
In the following field (SMPP): Structural steel, mechanical equipment, platework and piping.
• No less than 25 years, experience in SMPP estimating on large projects N$400m and above.
• Must be able to apply erection manhours to all disciplines.
• Must be able to apply cranes sizes and plant required for installation.
• Must be able to compile labour and plant histograms.
• Must have been a Country Manager/Contracts Manager and Estimating Manager.
• Must have run contracts before.
• Must have commercial and technical knowledge.
• Must be able to conduct meetings with clients.
• Must be able to presentations to client.
• Negotiations on tenders.
• Must be able to compile tenders from start to finish.

Must have attended Basic Seminar/Courses in the following:
(proof required).
• Fidic
• Nec – New Engineering Contracts.
• Contract Law
• Corporate Governance and Ethics.
• Quality Awareness.
• Projects – Level 1 – Basic planning.
• Basic Finance.
• Tradetest (qualified artisan) in boilermaker, piping, steelwork will be an advantage.
