Specification
To develop new products from indigenous fruits and vegetables as well as having the ability to adapt existing products to produce commercial viable products. Also provide routine and specialized technical support and administrative duties in collaboration with staff of the Food Science and Technology department as well as other University staff in related discipline.
Requirements
A relevant BSc degree in Food Science and Technology or equivalent qualification with a sound understanding of new product development and knowledge of operating equipment in food processing and production. At least two (2) years relevant experience as a Technologist, with exposure to new product development in Food Science and Technology environment.
