Reporting to the Warehouse Controller, the incumbent will be required to:

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to operate assigned machinery according to departmental requirements in line with

company procedures and policies, and machine requirements.

• Maintain forklift on a daily basis i.e. brakes, oil level, lights etc.
• Moving of stock around on the premises from the production areas to the storage locations.
• Execute any other duties to which the forklift might be assigned.
• Assist with general housekeeping in the areas where stock is on and off-loaded.
• Required to do stock take as and when requested.
• Adherence to company policies, procedures, Standing Operating Procedures and methods.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations in area of responsibility.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations relevant to operating the assigned machinery.

Qualification and Preferred Traits

The successful candidate must have:

• Grade 12
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Valid Forklift License
• Good communication skills
• Be prepared to work night shift and on Saturdays as and when required
