Insurance Industry Expert – NAMIBRE

Roles

Memorizing current insurance packages.
Reviewing clients’ needs to identify suitable insurance packages.
Gauging prominent risks to ascertain appropriate payment amounts.
Issuing non-binding insurance quotations.
Processing clients’ valid insurance claims.
Fielding our clients’ queries and recommendations.
Supporting newly-appointed Insurance Consultants by issuing sound advice.
Partaking in scheduled and impromptu company events.

Qualifications

A degree in insurance or related field with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the industry, five (5) years of which should have been at Executive level.

General Requirements

Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as an Executive and possess sound knowledge and expertise or similar field of expertise in Law, Finance, Engineering, Agriculture Economist, Insurance/ Reinsurance and Medical Profession (Physician) to be able to contribute to the strategic direction of the Corporation. Insurance Industry knowledge will be an added advantage.

It is very important to emphasize that persons who currently serve on Two (2) or more Boards of any Public Enterprises in Namibia will not be considered. Current NamibRe Board members that served one full term are encouraged to apply.
