MEKADESH TECHNICAL COLLEGE. Tutor: National Certificate In Road Construction And Maintenance. About The Position: The successful candidate will deliver instruction for our Certificate in Road Construction and Maintenance, a vocational course which runs from Level 1 to Level 4, preparing students for careers in the road infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions (Levels 1-4)
- Develop and update curriculum and assessment materials
- Supervise student projects and fieldwork in road engineering
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance
- Engage in research related to road infrastructure
- Build industry partnerships and support student placement
Requirements
- NQF Level 6, National Diploma in Civil Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of road design, construction, and maintenance
- Understanding of road materials and engineering practices
- Teaching/training experience (advantageous)
- Professional registration with ECN or eligibility (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to academic excellence
