Key Responsibilities

    Requirements

    • **Teacher E Grade 9:**
      • A recognized 3 year tertiary teaching qualification on NQF level 6
      • An appropriate recognized 3 year tertiary non-teaching qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 6 in relation to the school subjects to be taught plus 1 year teaching qualification
      • An appropriate recognized 3 year tertiary qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 6 plus recognized trade test plus 1 year teaching qualification.
    • **Teacher F Grade 8:**
      • A recognized 4 year tertiary teaching qualification on NQF level 7
      • An appropriate recognized 4 year tertiary non-teaching qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 7 in relation to the school subjects to be taught plus 1 year teaching qualification
      • An appropriate recognized 4 year tertiary qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 7 plus recognized trade test plus 1 year teaching qualification.
