Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all delivery documentation from drivers and van assistants upon return from route.
• Reconcile invoices, proof of deliveries (PODs), returns, credits, cash, and customer payments.
• Investigate and resolve route discrepancies, shortages, overages, damages, and delivery variances.
• Capture and process returns, credits, and claims accurately on the relevant system.
• Ensure all route paperwork is complete, signed, and submitted according to company procedures.
• Communicate discrepancies and operational issues to transport, sales, and warehouse teams.
• Monitor driver compliance with company policies and route procedures.
• Assist with daily route close-off and operational reporting.
• Maintain accurate filing and recordkeeping of all distribution documentation.
• Support stock control and inventory accuracy through proper reconciliation processes.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, FMCG operational standards, and health & safety requirements.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Previous experience in FMCG distribution, logistics, or transport operations preferred.
• Experience in debriefing, reconciliation, or administrative roles advantageous.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and ERP/distribution systems.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
