I The Company
The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) through its affiliate international NGO Global Programs for Research and Training (GP) is engaged In several projects in Namibia that are funded by the U.S. Government to provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MOHSS) and its partners.
HIS M&E Technical Advisor
I Report to: HIS Project Coordinator
Location: Windhoek, Namibia
I Period: 21 June to September 2021
The HIS M&E Technical Advisor will primarily be responsible for supporting programs to ensure the quality of in-country HIS datasets (public/programmatic/survey) are suitable for purposes of supporting the outcomes of the eHealth strategy and inform integrated public health responses informed by this data.
Minimum requirements
- At least five years of working experience (after graduation) in health care field.
- Knowledge of data use, data management, data security, data quality and public disclosure.
- Experience with one or more of the following are considered advantages:
- Clinical care & treatment programs
- (Bio)statistics
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Epidemiology
