Water Superintendent

DUTY STATION: Rosh Pinah

GRADE: C4

JOB ROLE

To oversee and supervise the water supply functions of a sub-area to ensure a constant supply of sufficient and quality water to customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 certificate. Grade 12 will be an advantage
• National Vocational Diploma/Certificate in Water Care

Experience

• Extensive (approximately 10 years) applicable experience in the water supply environment
• Experience obtained in Water supply and distribution systems will be an advantage.

Key Performance Areas

• Supply water to all clients of good quality in sustainable and cost effective way
• Administrating, processing, evaluating and safeguarding of all operation data
• Maintain records and compile relevant operational reports
• Liaising with Maintenance Division on maintenance of the water supply schemes
• Responsible for maintenance of the water supply schemes
• Overseeing vehicles maintenance and administration
• Supervise Human Resources
• Ad hoc duties
