Furnmart is expanding its Namibian retail footprint and is seeking a competent Sales Advisor to join the team at our Khalahari Sands branch. As Sales Advisor you will be the face of the Furnmart brand – helping walk-in customers find the right home-furniture, appliance and bedding solutions for their needs, and driving in-store sales performance for the branch.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and engage walk-in customers on the shop floor; understand their needs and recommend suitable furniture, appliance and bedding products.
Achieve and exceed monthly individual and branch sales targets set by branch management.
Demonstrate strong product knowledge across Furnmart’s range and communicate features, benefits and finance options clearly to customers.
Complete customer credit applications, cash sales, hire-purchase and delivery paperwork accurately and in full compliance with company policy.
Follow up on quotations, deliveries and after-sales queries to ensure a great customer experience and repeat business.
Maintain the shop floor: keep product displays neat, correctly priced and well-merchandised.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the branch manager.
Deliver goods to customer premises where required and support store operations as directed by management.

Requirements

Valid Namibian Driver’s Licence.
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
At least 2-3 years’ proven experience in a similar Sales Advisor / retail-sales role, preferably in furniture, appliances or hire-purchase retail.
Sober habits.
Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in a local Namibian language will be an advantage).
Customer-first attitude with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Target-driven, self-motivated and resilient under pressure.
Well-groomed, punctual and dependable.
Honesty, integrity and a strong sense of accountability.
