Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor assigned plant areas in line with approved procedures and production requirements.
Work competently across different plant areas and support stable production performance.
Monitor process parameters, production output and equipment condition and respond to deviations.
Carry out plant start-up, shutdown and isolation procedures safely and correctly.
Perform basic troubleshooting and report faults requiring maintenance intervention.
Maintain accurate production, inspection, operating and shift records.
Comply with HSE requirements and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Requirements

Grade 12, a qualification in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Processing, Science or a related field will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years’ plant or processing experience.
Proven competence in at least 2 plant areas.
Practical experience in flotation, milling, crushing, grinding, filtration and bagging will be assessed.
Knowledge of operating procedures, process monitoring, start-up/shutdown and basic troubleshooting.
Valid driver’s licence where required.
