OPERATIONAL MANAGER – Chakula Foods 2575 views

The purpose of your role as Operations Manager is to take ownership of the Production, Storage, Warehousing and Dispatch of products in line with Quality aspirations and to meet/exceed customer expectations.

Key skills and experience:

• Ideally educated in a business, financial and operations
• 5 -10 years’ experience in an FMCG environment
• Strong food production/operations track record together with excellent knowledge of supply chain functions and processes.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Highly analytical with a hands-on approach.
• IT literate including Excel.
• Knowledge of running a manufacturing plant in the food industry e.g. blending of flavours, Packaging and distribution.
• Technical understanding of blenders, packaging machines and materials and maintenance thereof.
• Ensuring all stacking and packaging of stock is with the SHEQ guide lines
• To meet/exceed internal and external stakeholder expectations and goals.
