Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage walk-in customers on the Okuryangava branch shop floor; understand their needs and recommend suitable furniture, appliance and bedding products.
- Achieve and exceed monthly individual and Okuryangava branch sales targets set by branch management.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge across Furnmart’s range and communicate features, benefits and finance options clearly to customers.
- Complete customer credit applications, cash sales, hire-purchase and delivery paperwork accurately and in full compliance with company policy.
- Follow up on quotations, deliveries and after-sales queries to ensure a great customer experience and repeat business.
- Maintain the Okuryangava shop floor: keep product displays neat, correctly priced and well-merchandised.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the branch manager.
- Deliver goods to customer premises within the Okuryangava branch’s catchment area where required.
Requirements
- Valid Namibian Driver’s Licence.
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years’ proven experience in a similar Sales Advisor / retail-sales role, preferably in furniture, appliances or hire-purchase retail.
- Sober habits.
- Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in a local Namibian language will be an advantage).
- Customer-first attitude with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven, self-motivated and resilient under pressure.
- Well-groomed, punctual and dependable.
- Honesty, integrity and a strong sense of accountability.
