Key Responsibilities

Ensuring that patients are comfortable with their surroundings and that their pain is managed
Working with members of the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
Reviewing medical records to identify potential problems with treatment plans or diagnoses
Preparing reports detailing patients’ conditions and progress towards recovery goals
Coordinating activities with other members of the medical staff.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner, Registered with the Health Professional Council of Namibia
A Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, or Diploma in Nursing Science (DNS).
Namibian Citizen or permanent Resident
Fluency in English (good oral and written communication skills)
Ability to perform well under pressure.
Good interpersonal skills, be able to liaise with Hospital Multidisciplinary Team, Patients and Family.
Demonstration of interest and focus on the achievements of the Mission and Vision of RCH.
Cultural awareness, to give complete, patient-centered care.
A Diploma in Critical Care with 2-3 years’ experience in ICU
Demonstration of interest and focus on the achievements of the Mission and Vision of Roman Catholic Hospital/ Church
Adherence to the Guiding Principles of the Roman Catholic Hospital/Church.
A commitment to uphold the Christian ethos and values of the RC Hospital/Church
Demonstration of qualities of a spiritual leader
