Key Responsibilities

Work directly with Shift Supervisor, CRO, Field Operators to maintain process adherence, ensure productivity and safety
Maintain key crushing parameters (CSS, liner wear profiles)
Ensure effective operation of the screen and protection etc within specified targets
Optimize SAG mill operation and classifier (D50, vortex & spot vortex ensure) and ensure optimum Pre-leaching screen efficiency (ensure correct screen size, density bed levels etc)
Maintain load cells and implement measures to reduce CLill leaching losses
Audit plant sampling practices, traceability and laboratory submission routines

Requirements

Grade 12
Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy or Process Engineering
5-10 years relevant experience in similar role as junior comminution metallurgist
A valid driver’s license
Strong understanding of multi-stage crushing circuits
Data analysis capability
Good communication and interpersonal skills
