Key Responsibilities

Ensure sample representativity, traceability, and quality to ensure strict quality control compliance
Support the metallurgical laboratory by collecting and submitting routine and specialized field samples ensuring correct sample preparation and detailed metallurgical test work programs
Perform comprehensive sampling, evaluation and validation of critical process instruments and analyzers
Perform online and offline analysis of process stream downstream analyzers, including: cyanide analyzers (critical control point), pM meters, dissolved oxygen (DO) analyzers

Requirements

Grade 12
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
5-8 years of relevant experience in similar role
A valid driver’s license
Strong leaching & stripping expertise is required
Understanding of MTO Feeds filter is an added advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
