Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to achieve factory and company sales targets
- To maximise the sales and profitability of machines and associated products
- To process quotes accurately and efficiently and ensure timely delivery
- To actively canvass and contact new customers, and maintain database
- To assist to ensure the optimum stock of vehicles is on premises and/or on order
- To assist to maintain cost control in line with agreed objectives and plan
- To assist in maintaining franchise operating standards
- To assist to develop the business and resources to achieve performance objectives
- To assist to achieve profit targets, maintain margins & control expenses as detailed in budgets and business plans
Requirements
- Relevant educational qualifications
- Computer literate – MS Office
- Courses applicable to Construction Equipment / Truck sales
- Namibian Citizenship with Grade 12 and a valid driver’s licence; Code CE an advantage
- Sales and Marketing as well as sales admin experience within the construction industry
- Sound knowledge and experience with submission of tenders to government & other
- Knowledge of Transolve, Weight Distribution Calculations, Cost calculations and the Road Traffic Act
- Knowledge of Construction Equipment and specifications a pre-requisite
- Dynamic & highly motivated, ability to work under pressure and independently
- Time management / priority setting / organizing with an action-orientation
- Attend to customers promptly ensuring an efficient service
- Structured sales administration experience
- Adherence to company policies and procedures, willing to attend training
- Composure / approachability / patience also in problem solving
- Strong knowledge of Customer Satisfaction and Customer Care measurement required
- Advanced financial knowledge
- Strong analytical skills & enthusiasm for the motor trade
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a neat & outgoing personality
- Willing to travel and work after hours & weekends
- Positive assessments and approval by MAN will be a prerequisite to employment
- A compliance certificate of Code of Conduct at NamPol is a requirement
- The successful candidate will be expected to promote the product, increase market share and canvass existing and new clients
