Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, on & offboarding, performance management and employee relations.
Develop and implement HR policies while ensuring compliance with Labour Law and regulations.
Oversee administrative operations and support, workplace wellness, employee relations, salary and benefits management (payroll processing).
Foster a positive workplace culture and resolve employee relations issues.
Foster the relationship between Management and Trade Union.
Manage the Employment Equity process.
Maintain Health & Safety regulations are adhered to. Ensure accurate HR records and reports.
Manage training and development initiatives to enhance skills, performance and compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field.
7+ Years of general HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within a unionized environment and payroll experience.
Experience with AA reporting and leading a negotiation Team.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Valid Driver’s Licence
Good & effective communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
