The Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) is a commercial public enterprise, mandated under the Namibia Wildlife Resorts Company Act (Act 3 of 1998), to operate inside the protected areas (National Parks) of Namibia to provide tourism-related services and promote the safer environmental protection activities.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
We are seeking a receptive and competent Human Capital Officer – Administration (Grade C3) to provide effective personnel administrative functions and policy advisory services to all NWR employees to ensure efficient human capital administration. The suitable candidate will be responsible for staff planning and implementing relevant human capital policies and procedures related to recruitment and selections, leave management, transfers, promotions and termination of services while observes full compliance thereof. This role will be reporting to the Senior Human Capital Officer – Administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitates the staff recruitment processes (i.e advertisement of vacancies, shortlisting, written /psychometric tests and oral interviews)
- Prepares confirmation of permanent employment letters
- Submits all completed and relevant forms to GIPF / Pension Fund / Medical Aid and Social security in respect of newly appointed personnel
- Completes the general advice forms regarding service termination and submit to payroll personnel for processing
- Liaises with duty stations and relevant external service providers in respect of termination of service
- Provides exit interview forms to employees terminating service
- Receives and calculates overtime in accordance with forms submitted and forwards to supervisor for verification
- Maintains appropriate electronic and manual records for all human capital processes
- Provides updated information regarding staff leave balances
- Updating and maintenance of all human capital administration filing systems
- Provides advice on human capital policies and procedures;
Requirements
- National Diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration, NQF L6;
- A least two (2) years of working experience in human capital administration environment;
- Ability to interpret Namibian labour legislation, particularly conditions of employment
- Candidates with previous knowledge in HR Admin functions will serve as advantage.
