Key Responsibilities
- Manage all employee relations activities within the organisation
- Manage the grievance & disciplinary procedure
- Maintaining excellent employee engagement relations to promote the company image
- Advise line managers on general disciplinary matters and handling of grievances
- Responsible for co-ordination and execution of all employee engagement activities/initiatives
- Responsible for creating effective employee communication plans
- Act as a link between Human Resources and other business units
- Responsible for identification of employee skills gaps and training needs
- Evaluate effectiveness of learning programmes and interventions
- Assist and track training & development programmes
- Support managers in setting KPI’s and performance goals
- Monitor appraisal system and ensure fairness
- Assist in ensuring HR policies support organisational growth & compliance
Requirements
- Namibian citizenship
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
- 5 years experience in a Human Resources environment
- Human Resources Operations, Compensation and Administration experience will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy (Microsoft package & ERP)
- Valid driver’s license (Code B)
- Proficiency in English
