About the job Head of ICT Sales Head of ICT Sales The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, sales strategy, client portfolio expansion, tender performance, commercial governance, and leadership of the sales team across government, corporate, parastatal and local authority markets in Namibia.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual ICT sales strategy.
- Set sales targets, pipeline standards and conversion expectations.
- Drive revenue, gross margin and client acquisition.
- Lead, coach and manage the ICT sales team.
- Lead, coach and manage the ICT sales team, including Sales Executives and Sales Administration support.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews and performance check-ins.
- Support capability development in solution selling, tender preparation, client engagement and proposal writing.
- Own executive-level relationships with strategic clients and high-value accounts.
- Develop account plans for key government, SOE, corporate and enterprise clients.
- Drive retention, renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the full ALTUS ICT portfolio.
- Resolve escalated client concerns in collaboration with technical and operational teams.
- Lead tender strategy for high-value public and private sector opportunities.
- Approve tender submissions, pricing assumptions and compliance packs before submission.
- Maintain governance over proposal quality, deadlines, tender register and lessons learnt.
- Monitor ICT market trends, competitor activity and emerging client needs in Namibia.
- Identify new partnerships, service lines and market opportunities.
- Represent ALTUS ICT at strategic forums, events and client engagements.
- Submit monthly sales reports covering pipeline, wins, losses, forecasts and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in ICT sales, business development, key account management or commercial leadership.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a sales leadership or team management role.
- Proven track record in revenue growth, large account acquisition, tender strategy and enterprise sales.
- Strong understanding of ICT solutions including networking, cybersecurity, AV, CCTV, biometric access control, cloud, hardware, software, Microsoft 365, managed services and infrastructure solutions.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel within Namibia for strategic client and stakeholder engagements.
- Sales strategy development, budget ownership and revenue forecasting.
- Ability to engage executive decision-makers.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business, security, productivity and cost-efficiency outcomes.
- Advanced tender strategy, bid/no-bid evaluation, proposal governance and procurement compliance knowledge.
- Pipeline management, CRM discipline, sales reporting and performance analytics.
- Commercial negotiation, pricing governance, margin management and contract review support.
- Team leadership, coaching, performance management and interdepartmental coordination.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strategic, commercially mature and target-driven.
- Confident executive communicator with strong negotiation presence.
- High integrity and disciplined approach to governance and client commitments.
- Able to lead people, manage pressure and create accountability without losing the human touch.
