Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop direct report within the finance function
- Oversee work allocation, performance management and capability development of the team
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior finance staff.
- Act as Finance 2IC during key reporting and planning cycle, ensuring continuity and leadership support
- Act as a strategic business partner to production, procurement and commercial teams.
- Influence operational decision-making to improve efficiency, cost control and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures and internal controls
- Identify and mitigate financial risks relating to costing, inventory and operational processes.
- Support internal and external audit processes where required.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive financial discipline and performance improvement initiatives
- Compliance and Adherence
- Execute all other legal and reasonable duties as directed by the employer.
- Maintain housekeeping in the workshop and relevant areas.
- Adherence to Company policies, procedures and practice.
- Adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
- Proficient knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- SAP experience in SAP module Material Management and FI.
- Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in cost and production accounting environment.
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel for analysis, planning & reporting, ability to create, manipulate, utilize spreadsheets, word processing programs.
