Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop direct report within the finance function
Oversee work allocation, performance management and capability development of the team
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior finance staff.
Act as Finance 2IC during key reporting and planning cycle, ensuring continuity and leadership support
Act as a strategic business partner to production, procurement and commercial teams.
Influence operational decision-making to improve efficiency, cost control and profitability.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures and internal controls
Identify and mitigate financial risks relating to costing, inventory and operational processes.
Support internal and external audit processes where required.
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive financial discipline and performance improvement initiatives
Compliance and Adherence
Execute all other legal and reasonable duties as directed by the employer.
Maintain housekeeping in the workshop and relevant areas.
Adherence to Company policies, procedures and practice.
Adherence to Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
Proficient knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
SAP experience in SAP module Material Management and FI.
Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in cost and production accounting environment.
Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel for analysis, planning & reporting, ability to create, manipulate, utilize spreadsheets, word processing programs.
