Key Responsibilities

Accountable for the accuracy, integrity and reliability of costing, inventory valuation, and related financial information impacting financial reporting.
Own and manage the standard costing model, ensuring alignment with operational realities. Review BOMs and ensure that they reflect the latest manufacturing practices, updating standard costs as required.
Interact with the production department to ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) are accurate and up to date.
Ensure strong financial controls and governance over costing and inventory process.
Drive continuous improvement in costing methodologies and processes.
Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Support strategic planning through robust financial modelling and scenario analysis,
Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Provide financial recommendations influencing pricing, margin optimisation and operational strategy.
Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making at management level.
Accountable for inventory valuation, reconciliation and reporting integrity
Oversee inventory cycle counts and investigate variances.
Maintain integrity of inventory master data of agency goods.
Maintain the cost price master data of inventory.
Prepare and review monthly management reports and cost reports.
Prepare and present cost and operational performance reports to senior management and support Board reporting with financial insights and commentary.
