VACANCY I DIRECTOR: FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE CENTRE

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge, experience, and Skills:

• An admttod legal practitioner who holds a Master’s degree m Law with Specialisation in Commercial Law. Financial Services Regulation and Criminal Law (focusing on AMUCFTiCPF and not general criminal taw). A doctorate degree in the above fields will be an added advantage
• A minimum, fifteen (15) years’ experience working in:

a legal (a combination of criminal prosecution in the High Court and civil practice in the High Court, inclusive of adjudication: and

a finance! services regulatory environment

of which eight (8) years’ experience should be at Senior Management Level and a minimum four (A) at Executive Management Level.

• Strong knowledge of the FATF Standards and reasonable knowledge of AMUCFT/PF reqixremonts, performance and institutional settings across regional and international jurisdictions
• Strong knowledge of the Egrrwnt Croup of Financial Intelligence Units requirements, performance and institutional settings across regional and international jurisdictions
• Developing policy, legislation and implementation infrastructure in a national, regional and international context
• Proven Executive Management skits.

The principal accountabilities of this position are:

• Providing Strategic Leadership and Direction to the FlC and the National and International AMUCFT/CPF Ecosystem
• Providing Strategic Direction and Leadership to the FtC in terms of Development, Implementation, and Managing the Strategic Objectives and Planning of the FlC. in kne with government priorities and objectives, MUTFiPF risks identified and international Standards.
