Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and process operational and customer claims (including damages, shortages, and returns) accurately and within set turnaround times.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers, stores, suppliers, logistics, and finance to resolve claims. This includes compiling upliftment sheets for transporters to collect claims.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date claims records, prepare management reports, and proactively follow up on outstanding documentation.
- Monitor the status of claims, identify recurring issues or trends, and escalate them to the Claims Supervisor to help improve processes.
- Ensure all claims are handled according to company policies and procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality with sensitive information.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with 3-5 years of experience in claims administration, customer service, or retail operations (retail experience is highly advantageous).
