Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit all payroll input to the Payroll Officer within the required deadlines.
- Provide accurate information relating to: New appointments, Terminations, Salary adjustments, Allowances, Leave taken, Overtime, Deductions, Employee benefit changes, Any other payroll-related information.
- Verify payroll information for accuracy before submission.
- Assist in resolving payroll-related queries.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR correspondence and reports.
- Assist with disciplinary, grievance, incapacity, and performance management administration.
- Prepare letters, notices, and other HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times.
- Ensure all HR documentation complies with applicable labour legislation.
- Maintain statutory records and HR documentation.
- Assist with internal and external audits relating to HR records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ HR administration experience.
- Sound knowledge of Namibian Labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience in recruitment and employee administration.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
