Part-time Instructor/Lecturer (Two year contract) – Nampower 

Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for all preparations and relevant administrative tasks for classes to be given at NTC Levels 1, 2 and 3 Mathematics, Engineering Science and Engineering Drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and present classes at N Levels1, 2 and 3 for Mathematics, Engineering Science and Engineering Drawings according to the prescribed time frames (between 08h00 and 16h00).
• Prepare and conduct weekly assessments of NP Vocational Trainees at N Levels 1, 2 and 3 for Mathematics, Engineering Science and Engineering Drawings.
• Prepare and conduct criterion assessments of NP Vocational Trainees at N Levels 1, 2 and 3 for Mathematics, Engineering Science and Engineering Drawings according to the prescribed time frames.
• Prepare NP Vocational Trainees for the external National Examinations at N Levels 1, 2 and 3.
• Facilitating discipline amongst NP Vocational Trainees by adherence to NamPower’s Disciplinary Procedures and Code of Ethics.

 Qualification Requirements:

• NQF Level 5 (Trade Certificate and/ or Certificates or National Diploma with Mathematics, Engineering Sciences & Engineering Drawing)
•   Certificate/ Diploma as an Instructor/ ETD Practitioner

Experience Requirements:

At least five (5) year experience in ETD/ or as Instructor
