Job Title: TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONS DIRECTOR – COUNTRY ROOFING NAMIBIA

Main purpose of the Position:
To achieve set down targets through the management of the company’s technical and operations processes and training of its employees to provide world class products and customer service assisting to ensure profitability of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Check and Approve all costs
Maximize profitability
Conduct and respond to ongoing analysis of the financial situation and market share
Provide accurate reports, material and sales forecasts and annual budgets
Submit monthly board papers
Ensure that subordinates are productive and remove barriers were needed
Manage and follow all company procedures and systems
Ensure that legal obligations are met
Commissioning of new static and mobile mills, cranking machine / flashing equipment
Update strategic plans quarterly to suite market conditions
Assist when needed to call on Architects, Qs, and Engineers
Assist with project monitoring
Assist Manage pricelists and pricing
Ensure that company’s code of ethics is promoted and upheld
Roof inspections for guarantees
Assist with the resolve of customer complaints
Assist customers and professionals with technical info and installation procedures
Spot checks on various milled profiles to ensure that profiles are within specifications
Manage Stock and product mix levels to suite changing market conditions
Manage waste / off cut management in warehouse
Manage machine maintenance and health and safety regulations

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12
Minimum 10 year’s management experience in roof sheeting manufacturing industry
Minimum 15 year’s experience in the roofing industry
Minimum 15 years experience with roll forming equipment (pierced and concealed fix)
Minimum 15 years experience on inspection experience on concealed fix roofing applications
