Key Responsibilities
- Stock valuation: monitor stock costs for correctness and ensure inventory is valued in line with Group financial accounting policy under the Weighted Average Cost (WAC) method.
- Daily ECS/GL integrities: run daily stock integrity reports; investigate and correct differences between ECS and GL stock by midday each day; monitor unit and landed costs and correct unusual movements; ensure sales orders and transfers are updated within Financial KPI timelines and in the correct month.
- Act as the SAP focal point for Inventory Management and Supply, providing technical support and training to system users.
- Stock reconciliation: monitor and ensure physical stocks (bulk and packed) are reconciled daily.
- Support pricing validation and audit controls to maintain financial integrity.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience in stock/inventory accounting, ideally within fuels, FMCG or distribution.
- Strong SAP and advanced Excel skills; high attention to detail.
