REQUIREMENTS

Degree/Diploma: In Food Technology or related fields such as Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology.

Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a food processing plant as a Laboratory Technician.

Laboratory Experience:

Relevant experience in a laboratory environment, with a focus on microbiology and/or analytical testing.

Knowledge:

Must possess knowledge of sanitation and food handling standards, with familiarity in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.

Key Activities:

Sensory Panel Proficiency Program: Execute and oversee the Sensory Panel Proficiency Program to ensure accurate and consistent sensory analysis.

TCCQS (Quality) System: Maintain and uphold the TCCQS Quality System to meet the highest industry standards.

Environmental Health & Safety Standards: Adhere to and enforce environmental health and safety standards within the laboratory setting.

Product Quality: Maintain and monitor product quality through sensory evaluation and laboratory testing.

Housekeeping: Perform regular housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Incoming Ingredients Inspection: Inspect incoming ingredients to verify quality and compliance with established standards.

QA/QC Tests: Assist with Quality Assurance/Quality Control tests to validate product specifications.
