SALES MANAGER – First Car Rental

CANDIDATE PROFILE AND CORE COMPETENCIES

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Meet & exceed sales targets, develop sales strategies, drive digital retail, and manage promotions to boost profitability.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by resolving issues and fostering excellent service.
• Manage sales budgets while analyzing market trends.
• Developing sales strategies, including special promotions and campaigns.
• Leading, motivating and managing rental agent teams to meet or exceed targets.
• Conducting regular sales meetings and providing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Preparing and monitoring the sales department budget and approving expenditures.
• Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on quantitative metrics.
• Handling and resolving escalated customer issues with the products or customer service.
• Establishing sales and revenue quotes and monitoring the performance of sales staff.
• Researching market changes and identifying emerging opportunities.
• Nurturing relationships with collaborators and clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar position within a Car Rental Company.
• Experience within a Car Rental Company is mandatory.
• Effective communication, selling and negotiating skills.
• A passion to succeed in a challenging environment.
• Computer knowledge is mandatory.
• Knowledge of financial accounting systems is an advantage.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with a minimum of 23 points. NQF Level 4.
• Valid Namibian driver’s license.
