We are seeking to hire a Reservations Clerk that will manage guest bookings and reservations for Emanya@Etosha Lodge, ensuring accurate processing of requests and providing professional customer service to guests from enquiry to confirmation.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and process reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
Confirm availability and create/update bookings accurately in the reservations system.
Handle booking amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
Communicate check-in/check-out information, rates, and lodge services to guests.
Assist with payment/deposit arrangements (as per lodge policy).
Provide excellent guest service and respond professionally to guest queries.
Prepare and maintain daily reservation/booking reports for the lodge team.
Coordinate with relevant departments to support smooth guest arrivals.

Requirements

Grade 12 (relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage)
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in reservations, front office, or customer service (hospitality/tourism experience preferred).
Excellent communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, and reservation systems).
Ability to work under pressure and meet daily booking timelines.
Professional and friendly attitude.
Knowledge of German and / or Italian will be an added advantage.
Valid driver’s license.
