Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
- Confirm availability and create/update bookings accurately in the reservations system.
- Handle booking amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
- Communicate check-in/check-out information, rates, and lodge services to guests.
- Assist with payment/deposit arrangements (as per lodge policy).
- Provide excellent guest service and respond professionally to guest queries.
- Prepare and maintain daily reservation/booking reports for the lodge team.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to support smooth guest arrivals.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage)
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in reservations, front office, or customer service (hospitality/tourism experience preferred).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, and reservation systems).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily booking timelines.
- Professional and friendly attitude.
- Knowledge of German and / or Italian will be an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s license.
