Key Responsibilities
- Analyse client financial and non-financial information to assess credit risk and support lending decisions
- Prepare structured credit proposals and supporting documentation for review by Credit Support
- Assess client affordability, cash flow and financial position to determine risk exposure and recommend outcomes
- Maintain accurate and compliant client credit files, documentation and records in line with governance requirements
- Identify cross-sell opportunities across relevant products to maximise portfolio value and client profitability
- Support relationship managers by providing analytical insights to strengthen client engagement and retention
- Monitor client accounts, utilisation trends and risk indicators and escalate potential concerns
- Assist in compiling portfolio reports and updates to support management decision-making
- Engage with internal stakeholders including Risk, Credit and Operations to ensure alignment on client solutions
- Ensure all credit assessments comply with policies, risk appetite and regulatory requirements
- Respond to queries relating to client applications, credit assessments and portfolio performance within agreed timelines
- Support continuous improvement of processes, tools and methodologies within the credit and relationship environment
Requirements
- Relevant Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
- 2-4 years’ experience in credit analysis, banking operations or relationship support roles environments.
