Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation
• Evaluating and negotiating contractor and subcontractor variations, claims and amendments
• Attend site meetings and manage progress payments and valuations
• Monitoring project costs, cash flows, and budget performance
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed work
• Advise on procurement strategies and cost-saving options
• Track contractual obligations and assist with drafting and reviewing contract documents.
• Identify and assess potential financial, contractual, and project risks.
• Prepare final account statements upon project completion, reconcile all project costs with clear documentation of expenditures and variations.

Requirements

• BSc. (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Minimum 5 + years of relevant industry experience
• Registered with NCAQS / SACQSP (proof of registration required)
• Proficient in DimX, WinQS and Microsoft Package
• Valid driver’s license and own transport are preferable
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent understanding of construction processes and contract law
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Namibian / Permanent Residency Permit / Domicile (married to a Namibian)
