PRODUCTION MANAGER

An excellent opportunity exists for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our company. Achill Island Investments (Pty) Ltd, a large table grape farming operation, is situated 50km from the South Africa and Namibia Border Post in Aussenkehr, Namibia.

Production Manager Responsibilities

• Assist the Managing Director in all aspects of their responsibilities at an operational level on the farm.
• Oversight of production team which includes a large labour force of both seasonal and permanent employees.

• Oversight of all technical matters related to the production of grapes including nutrition programs, disease and pest control, packing protocols, etc.

Qualifications and requirements

• Suitable qualifications with at least 10 years’ experience in table grape production
• Be a good communicator, able to work under pressure, computer literate and willing to work abnormal hours as and when required.
• Intimate knowledge and experience of growing Arra and IFG varieties
