MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: PRINCIPAL GRADE 5
A recognized 3-year tertiary teaching qualification on an NQF Level 6 (or equivalent) plus (7) seven years teaching experience.
Supplementary requirements:
A candidate that is applying for the Principal Grade 5 posts at Pnmary schools must have a professional teaching qualification that would enable him/her to teach a subject in the Primary Phase. Pre – Primary to Grade 7.
A candidate that is applying for the Principal Grade 5 post at Secondary School Phase must have a professional teaching qualification that would enable him/her to teach a subject (Grade 8-11 and / or AS Level).
A candidate that is applying for the Principal Grade 5 post at a Combined School must have a professional teaching qualification that would enable him/her to teach a subject in the Secondary Phase.
The probation of a candidate in the present position of Head of Department Grade 6 or Senior Education Officer Grade 6 must be confirmed and attached.

Supplementary requirements:
• The probation of a candidate in the present position of Teacher Grade 9 or 8 must be confirmed and attached.
• A candidate should be fully qualified for the Secondary Phase. For the Head of Department Grade 6 at JA Nel Secondary School the candiadate should be able to teach either Mathematics. Biology and Office Practice and Accounting Grade 8-11.
• A candidate that is applying at Lordsville Secondary School the must be able to teach Accounting. Economics and Office Practice, Grade 8-11.
• A candidate should have six (6) years’ experience in teaching of the subject/s indicated and be a dedicated educator which is committed to render quality education and is devoted to make a real contribution towards education at national, regional, circuit, cluster and school level in general, are invited to apply. Specialization in the subjects or phase as advertised is a prerequisite.
• The name of the institution/school, as well as the post designation must be indicated on the application form submitted. Proof of confirmation of probation should be attached to the application together with form ZO/352 (1) and proof of Namibian citizenship.
IMPORTANT CLAUSE:
Interested applicants should complete the necessary Application Forms 156043 (Application for Employment) and 156094 (Health Questionnaire) which is obtainable at any Government Office/Mmistry/Agency.
Candidates must submit certified copies of all academic and professional qualifications, including an academic transcript, a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV), an identity document (ID) and at least two (2) recent testimonials, not older than 2 years. All foreign educational qualifications must be accredited by NQA.
Failure to complete all items on the application form for employment and not attaching the necessary certified documents will lead to an automatic disqualification of the application of a candidate.
