Key Responsibilities
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Organise and maintain inventory and storage area
- Warehouse admin e.g. prep work for monthly stock takes
- Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment, as necessary.
- Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
- General admin duties
- FIFO with regular Stock Rotation.
- Scanner systems experience and implementation for Warehouse Tracking system.
- Methods of receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials
- Cold chain Management.
- Managing accurate loading processes from picking airlock into trucks.
- Signing over route sheet and invoices to drivers prior to departure of delivery.
- Responsible for general housekeeping
- Maintaining open orders on BC orders register.
- Maintaining invoices on route sheet register.
- Assisting the Operations Manager with their tasks and sharing shifts.
- Standing in for the Operations Manager during their leave
- Adhere to the state VETS inspections requirements of delivery vehicles
- The receiving of all inward bound stock as per company policy and procedure.
- Recording of delivery vehicle information. Truck registration, Truck temperature, seal numbers, and any other information as per the receiving procedure.
- Promptly report any aspect of any operation that could negatively impact on the safe working environment, natural environment and/or the public.
- Ensure that all the correct stock is off loaded from each supplier.
- Ensure that all the correct paperwork is completed, and processes are followed regarding offloading of all transport vehicles.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control & stock takes
- Promptly report any aspect of any operation that could negatively impact the business.
- Managing suppliers claims and return to supplier claims, until concluded and finalized. System to be updated accordingly.
- Maintain a high level of security in the receiving department. This should include, vehicle tracking, VSA testing, reviewing CCTV footage.
- Performing any suspect dealings, activities, paperwork, admin trail, etc. to ISSI / ACTLINE
- Ensure strict adherence and compliance to the Standard Operating Procedure – Supply Chain Management – Good Receiving.
- Monitoring and managing the procedural process of all inward stock for the company into the various warehouses and stores.
- Assist with, managing the inward bound stock as prescribed by company standard operating procedures
