Key Responsibilities
- Provision of statutory financial information in compliance with financial management and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Financial risk management & strategic financial planning.
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Manage external audit deliverables and reports.
- Implement and manage controls within the PAAB’s Financial Environment.
- ICT management and controls.
- Ensure PAAB’s compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Procurement administration management.
- Payroll management.
- Manage PAAB administration needs.
- Analytical, pays attention to detail& strategic thinking.
- Ethical leadership and high integrity.
- Communication & problem-solving skills.
- Annual Financial & Monthly management accounts reports
- EXCO and REMCO reporting.
- Manage cost and monthly analysis of cost to budgets.
- Manage monthly variances.
- Manage annual budgeting process & monthly forecast and cash flow analysis.
- Cost Saving innovation and strategy.
- Manage, PAYE, VET, SSC, VAT and all relevant regulatory compliance.
- Account reconciliations and suspense accounts management.
- Review, testing and implementation of processes and system controls for efficiency.
- Manage annual audits and financial statements reporting.
- Finance and operations team leadership.
- Building and maintaining business relationships.
Requirements
- Honours Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Professional Accounting designation (CA, CIMA, ACCA), or Completion of audit articles will be added as an advantage.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a similar role of which three (3) years should be at a supervisory level.
- Experience in preparation and management of accounts and financial statements in a computerized environment.
- Valid Code B license.
