MAINTENANCE PLANNER

A relevant National Diploma or Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) is usually a prerequisite, often combined with at least 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, planning, or scheduling. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and a valid Namibian driver's license are also frequently sought after.

You would primarily be responsible for developing and optimizing maintenance schedules, coordinating resources such as technicians and spare parts, and ensuring work orders are executed efficiently. This involves analyzing equipment performance data to minimize downtime and contributing to a safe and productive operational environment.

The work culture in Namibian industrial settings, particularly in drilling, emphasizes strong safety adherence, reliability, and proactive problem-solving. Planners are expected to be organized, collaborative, and capable of working effectively with diverse teams to achieve operational goals.
