A position has become available in the Sales Department. The Key Accounts Manager role is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing strategic client relationships, securing new business opportunities and expanding Bluu Car Rental’s presence across private and public sector markets, including travel management companies. The role focuses on client retention, business development and achieving sustainable sales growth, while promoting a positive and professional image in accordance with the BCR standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow strategic key accounts across private and public sector markets, including travel management companies
  • Identify new businesses and generate sales opportunities to secure sustainable revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key clients to drive retention and satisfaction
  • Develop and present strategic account plans and sales proposals to secure and expand business
  • Negotiate contracts and rate increases at various management levels to achieve profitable outcomes
  • Achieve and exceed predetermined revenue and business growth targets
  • Navigate public sector procurement processes and tender requirements effectively
  • Research and develop new prospective clients across different market segments
  • Keep abreast of products, market trends and competitive activity
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategies to optimise sales profitability
  • Provide accurate and timeless reporting on account performance and sales opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with Public Sector Legislation, including the PFMA and MFMA, where applicable
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless service to key accounts

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Procurement or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in key account management, sales or business development
  • Proven experience working with public sector clients and procurement processes, to be presented at interview
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and business growth targets, to be presented at interview
  • Experience dealing with travel management companies
