Key Responsibilities
- The role is responsible for administering servers, cloud, and virtual and physical infrastructure and perform enterprise data backups as well as support the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Information Systems or Computer Science or related.
- VMware 5.5 or later.
- HP ProLiant ML/DL/SL Servers.
- MTC Vehicle Usage Procedure requires that all employees have a valid driver’s license.
- Total work experience of 5 years is required to work in this position.
- At least 5 years experience working in an IT environment with a focus on infrastructure installation, monitoring, enterprise backup and administration.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in performance tuning.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience is required.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as relevant ISO standards, NIST and CIS benchmarks.
- Knowledge of system and server security, enterprise backup and recovery.
- Knowledge of systems engineering, systems operations, and systems performance analysis skills.
- Sound knowledge of digital and analog embedded computer hardware.
- Knowledge of computing infrastructures.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex software and hardware problems with attention to detail.
