PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Monitoring and Quality Control of all processes in the hatchery. Summarising results in tables and graphs and interpretation of information gathered.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production DataFollow-up and feed-back reporting as requiredRecord keepingCompiling reports and graphsCheck Cleaning and servicing of all equipment as required.Quality Control and ProcessesAll measurements/quality controls that needs to be taken in the hatcheryControlling setter/hatcher/room temperaturesPlanning of setsMonitoring transfers & all movements of eggsEgg breakouts during and after incubationManagement of the hygiene monitoring programManage and interpret trialsRecording and summarising measurements on spreadsheets and graphsGeneralStrict adherence to Health, Safety, and Bio Security policies and procedures.General duties associated with the departmentPerform ad hoc tasks as needed and required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Grade 12 (NQF 4) passed with Mathematics.Computer Literate; Microsoft office with excellent Excel and Graph skills.Relevant Diploma / Certification will be highly advantageousTwo (2) Years in a structured, fast paced, intensive work environment.Previous experience in a FMCG environment will be highly advantageousNamibian citizenProficient in English, being bilingual will be advantageous.Willing and able to work overtime, Sundays and on Public Holidays as and when required.Willing and able to work shifts and standby duty as and when required.The company offers a competitive salary and market related employee benefits.
