ICT Business Developer The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and needs analysis through to proposal development, tender submission, negotiation and deal closure. This role requires the ability to translate ALTUS ICT’s technical capabilities into practical business value for government, corporate and parastatal clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new client relationships across government, corporate and parastatal sectors.
- Manage a qualified sales pipeline and provide weekly pipeline updates to management.
- Achieve or exceed agreed revenue and margin targets.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base.
- Attend industry events, networking functions and client engagements.
- Maintain regular, proactive contact with assigned accounts.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts.
- Ensure timely resolution of client concerns in collaboration with the technical team.
- Build multilevel relationships within client organisations, including operational, managerial and executive stakeholders.
- Lead the development of high-quality proposals and tender responses.
- Coordinate with the technical team for solution design, Bills of Materials and pricing accuracy.
- Ensure all submissions meet deadlines and comply with procurement requirements.
- Maintain a library of proposal templates, case studies and capability statements.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and emerging ICT needs in Namibia.
- Provide monthly sales reports covering pipeline status, wins, losses and market insights.
- Identify new service lines and partnership opportunities for ALTUS ICT.
- Represent ALTUS ICT professionally at all client and public engagements.
- Contribute to marketing content, case studies and client testimonials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably within the enterprise ICT sector.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven experience in tender and proposal management for government and corporate clients.
- Understanding of ICT solutions, including networking, cybersecurity, AV, hardware, cloud and managed services.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel within Namibia.
- Solid understanding of ALTUS ICT’s full-service portfolio and partner brands.
- Ability to explain technical solutions in business language to non-technical decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
- Tender and procurement process knowledge.
- Proposal and report writing skills.
- Negotiation and closing skills across different client types.
- Financial literacy, including ability to discuss budgets, ROI and total cost of ownership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Highly driven, results-oriented and commercially motivated.
- Confident and polished communicator.
- Strong relationship-builder with the ability to earn trust quickly.
