Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Home Loans portfolio, ensuring alignment with the overall Retail Banking and Group strategy.
- Drive sustainable portfolio growth through customer acquisition, retention and increased market penetration.
- Optimise portfolio profitability through effective pricing, lending strategies, risk-adjusted returns and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and strengthen governance frameworks within the business.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving customer experience, operational efficiency and digital adoption across the mortgage value chain.
- Drive innovation in home financing solutions to meet evolving customer needs and enhance competitive positioning.
- Strengthen partnerships and stakeholder relationships that support business growth and customer acquisition.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience within banking or financial services, with significant exposure to mortgage lending, credit risk management and portfolio leadership.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role or leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving portfolio growth, profitability, operational excellence and customer-centric outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of banking regulations, governance frameworks and risk management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
