Key Responsibilities

• Manage the total accounting functions of the group
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of the Companies Act and Income Tax Act
• Attend to all income tax matters of the group
• Prepare interim and annual consolidated financial statements for the group
• Assist external auditors with annual audits
• Prepare bank submissions for project loans and maintain banking relationships
• Perform financial modelling and project evaluations
• Oversee creditor reconciliations, payments, and processing on Pastel
• Prepare monthly management reports for directors
• Forecast cash flow positions and monitor available funds for operational requirements and future projects
• Compile annual budgets for board approval and report on budget variances

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant registered in Namibia
• Minimum of 10 (ten) years’ experience in property development in a senior finance position
• Proven experience in:
  • Property management and property development
  • Group reporting and consolidations
  • Project evaluation and financial feasibility analysis
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Namibian tax regulations
• Computer literacy in Pastel, MRI, Draftworx, and MS Office
• Strong communication, analytical, and business acumen skills
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of IT environments
