Purpose of the Job
Strategically plan, organize, control, and lead the TransNamib Finance Department to manage financial risks, prepare/present financial reports to Management and the Board, manage accounting and payment processes, analyse financial data, ensure funding is in place, and provide a cost-effective, world-class operational financial service.

Requirements
- Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (NQF Level 8)
- Professional registration as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or membership with a professional body affiliated to IFAC
- Relevant Master’s degree (advantage)
- Minimum 10 years of financial management/strategy experience (analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting), with 5 years at Middle Managerial level
- Experience in transport/logistics environment (advantage)
- Valid driver’s license
- Code of Conduct (not older than 6 months)
- Knowledge of IFRS, corporate taxation, financial systems, audits, budgets, accounting software (FICO)
- Interpersonal communication, business acumen, managerial leadership skills
